I have curly hair. Why do my strands sometimes tie themselves into tiny knots?

It completely ruins all the strands involved and they have to be cut off. I condition religiously and I use a wide toothed comb. I only shampoo every other day or sometimes every 3rd day.I have curly hair. Why do my strands sometimes tie themselves into tiny knots?

Try applying oil on wet hair after bath and comb them
buy a detangler shampoo and some product to put in your hair after you shampoo that helps with curly hair
jst straighten ur hair..... it wont get in knots.......
Usually seems to be caused by the shedding hair. As the hair sheds it gets tangled in the other hair. Try to run your finger through your hair when you shampoo and condition to removed any tangled hairs. Also, either run a conditioning spray or detangler through your hair with a comb afterwards or using your fingers apply some conditioning/defrizzing cream to your hair and use your fingers to comb through your hair and spread it in. Then you still usually need to apply a gel or mousse or something to control the curls. If you dry your hair, be sure to use a defuser.
