How do I make my curly hair into fake looking ringlets?

I have extremely curly hair naturally, and I love it....but I'm in a production and they want me to have fake looking ringlets. I've tried straightening my hair and then curling it with a curling iron (with hairspray), but it didn't work. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I have curly hair too, but I saw this idea on The Girls NextDoor. I forget which one did this but it was for a themed party. Anyways if you have an old tshirt that you are willing to cut into pieces or any other cotton like fabric. This works on damp or dry hair although damp is better. Make sure you cut strips of the fabric long nough t o tie in a bow. You will need to separate hair as you would to curl it only when you do put a strip of the fabric at the end of your hair and roll it up in it. Once you get to the top you can then tie it in a bow. Works really well overnight too and it painless to sleep with them it. You can make the ringlets as big or small as you choose. well straighten hair first..tehn use pipe cleaners to roll her as if they were rollers..sleep in them and in the morn..spray hairspray..u need a alot of pipe cleaners..any more question search(curl hair with pipe cleaners)on u tube
Get a weave. Go to the shops where they sell hair extensions, you'll get the craziest curls and ringlets in the most outrageous colours. Just ask your African-American friends for help
My friend twiddles clumps of her hair with her fingers when it's semi-wet. You have to be very patient though x
she cannot get a weave or have an african-american friend help because we live on a tiny little island full of white people.
