How do i straighten my really curly hair?

My hair is really curly and i straighten it every day and by the time i get to school it curls and gets frizzy. I need a way to keep it straight without hairspray. please help! How do i straighten my really curly hair?
If you want to try straightening your hair at home, a good pair of hair straighteners will be your best friends. Hair straighteners work like curling tongs in reverse: simply heat them up and apply them to your hair. Where there were waves, you should now have poker straight hair!

There are a few types of straighteners on the market. Ha 209 1.html Ceramic hair straighteners are generally considered to be the best as they don’t overheat the way that other straighteners can, and are therefore better for your hair.

Remember, heat can be bad for your hair, and just as too much blow-drying can leave your hair looking dull and brittle, the same is also true of too-much straightening. While ceramic straighteners such GHDs (Good Hair Days) will minimize the damage, if you’re using straighteners daily, it may be a good idea to step up your hair care regime a notch at the same time. Invest in a good quality conditioner or use a hot oil treatment a couple of times per week to make sure that your hair remains as shiny as it is straight.

As quick and easy as this method of straightening is, it isn’t effective for everyone. Hair straighteners work best for people with naturally straight hair who simply want to make their style even straighter. If you have naturally curly hair, or hair which has been permed, you may not achieve the same effects, or may find your curls springing back to life after an hour or so.

If you’d rather not spend time on hair straightening every day, or have hair that just won’t respond to at-home straighteners, a more permanent method may be appropriate. This is a method best done by the professionals, so take yourself to the salon and have a chat with your stylist about your options.

Most permanent straightening involves a treatment very much like perming. Instead of wrapping your hair around curlers and leaving it to set, however, it will be pulled straight before chemicals are applied. Once the hair is rinsed clean, your curls should have relaxed, leaving you with straight hair. Bear in mind that the chemicals used to straighten your hair in this way aren’t exactly kind to your hair, and you may be left with some dryness at first. Again, a few deep-conditioning treatments will help.

Although we’re calling this a “permanent” method of hair straightening, if your hair is naturally curly, new growth will be curly too, so you’ll need to repeat the procedure to make sure your hair remains straight. How do i straighten my really curly hair?
i also have really curly hair first use straightening shampoo try herball essences dangerously strait or sunsilk then use a straightening creme like Victoria's secret so sexy super smooth straightening balm then blow dry it strait using a round brush and a good hair dryer then straighten it with ca good straightener like conair or if you like the one you have that will be fine

hope this helped
omg i can relate guurl. my hair is reeeallly curly. i wear it super satraight now though. i use a straightener (its not even expensive but it works) and as i straighten small sections i put garnier fructis anti frizz serum. It makes your hair not frizzy for the whole entire day, and is tha best stuff that i ever used!hope this helps, good luck with your hair!=)
begin by using shampoo and conditioner that moisturize.... (if hair is moisturized, it will frizz less)...or one that sleeks or straightens hair. Towel-dry hair thoroughly...if you blow dry soping wet hair, it will take longer and you may not dry hair thoroughly. Use a straightening, anti-frizz serum or cream. I like to use Tigi S-factor Smoothing lusterizer (http://tigihaircare.us/tigi/sfactor/arch… Then use a big round brush to stretch hair out as you blow dry small sections at a time.

If needed, use a good ceramic straightening iron to create sleek finish. Before going outside, I like to use John Frieda, Frizz ease Moisture Barrier Firm Hold hairspray (http://www.johnfrieda.com/products/produ… You can find it at most drug stores for about $4-5. It protects your straight style from moisture in the air (and I live in Florida humidity...so this stuff works). This isn't like normal hairsprays... its a spray that keeps moisture from penetrating your hair.

Hope this helps. Good luck! :)

My suggestion is, since it sounds like you straighten your hair very often and it just bounces back into curls, to just get it permanently straightened.

The Japanese Hair Straightening method works best and is well worth it.

Ask for it the next time you go to the Salon(:

Good Luck~
either you dont have a good enough straightener or your hair isnt made to be straight and just wont work on it.. i would try getting a better straightener and see if that works if not i would go 2 a salon and get it done professionally, it can be expensive tho... and sometimes it doesnt work then...
find a hairspray that blocks out frizz and humidity and after u striaghten it, spray ur hair down with it.

and just in case, i would bring the hairspray with you in case you need to spray it again.

I don't know how to do it without hairspray.

But my hair salon person hair sprays it when it's curly and then straightens it and then when shes done she puts a little more in. It works greattttt.
use curling jell. or heat jell before you curl your hair. It gets the frizz out, doesnt make your hair look greasy (don't use to much) and it stays in the whole day!!!

Best of Luck!! : ]
the only way you could really keep it down
