How to straight and smooth dry curly hair with oily scalp and split ends?

With out making the scalp more oily or the hair dryer? How to straight and smooth dry curly hair with oily scalp and split ends?
You need to deep condition the hell out of your split ends. Straightening hair only makes it drier and it is easy to see the condition of your hair once its straight so it's not gonna look good. Then do a clarifying shampoo for your roots only. If you don't have clarifying shampoo mix baking soda with you reg shampoo. Do that once a week. You need to deep condition your hair twice a week with a protein pack. Don't leave it on for more than 20 mins and use a plastic bag and heat to set. You also need good products and good styling equipment. Bumble and bumble, bio silk, or pureoligy. You need a leave in spray conditioner too it works wonders. Then you need a ceramic straightener with an ion infusing blowdryer. How to straight and smooth dry curly hair with oily scalp and split ends?
Like everyone else said use a lot of conditioner, because you will get a lot of split ends if you continue to straighten your hair. I use sunsilk thermashine leave in detangler spray when i get out of the shower, let it air dry (if you don't want to use the blow dryer), then once dry i use my straightener. The best straightener i've found so far is the conair infinity straightener, you can buy it at wallmart (it comes in a 2 1/2 inch, and a 1 inch straightener). The infinity is kind of on the expensive side, BUT you will you it for a long time, and it WORKS!! Hope this helped a little.
I have the same type of hair.

When my hair is looking oily I use dry shampoo, you can find it at any beauty store. All you do is spray it in your hair, rub it into your roots, then brush it out. You'll look like you just washed your hair!

Before you do anything with your hair though put some type of anti-frizz heat protecting serum, John Frieda has a great product. This will prevent you from getting even more split ends.

For straightening, ceramic irons work the best though they tend to be a bit more expensive. My hair is rather thick so I work in layers. Also, since you have split ends the bottom of your hair will looks fuzzy. The best way to fix that is to take a curling iron to the tips of your hair so it looks smoother and curls under. For nice events I will straighten my hair with a curling iron for a fancier look.

Good luck!
use aussy combination hair shampoo and conditioner. and go buy yourself a good straightner. to protect from more split ends you can get a heat protecting product (they r most likely sold ne where u can buy a straightener) and get routine haircuts
Well use a straightener but if you straightens your hair too often it'll lead to more split ends so use alot of conditioner.
