What kind of haircut should i get for thick curly hair?

i have really thick curly auburn hair and i want to get it cut short for summer. i dont have the patience to style it for hours so i need something simple. i want to have it long enough so that i can still put it up when i need to. if i'm getting it cut short, should i have it thinned out too? another problem is that my nose is kind of big so i dont want anything that would attract attention to that. What kind of haircut should i get for thick curly hair?
Hey hun, I have the same kind of hair you do, pain in the butt! Make sure you go to someone who actually knows how to cut curly hair, the lady who does mine has the same hair we do and hers always looks great.

When I get my hair cut, I get a lot a layers put in and I keep the length a little past shoulder length, any shorter than that and it kinks up really bad. Make sure your layers start no shorter than a little bit above your chin, really short layers look bad with naturally curly hair. As far as thinning out goes, I used to do that alot but it kills your hair and if you get a really good cut you dont need to have it thinned out.

By the way a styling tip, i used to spend 2 hours straightening my hair or ten mins putting gel in it and hated the way it looked. Now I wash it at night let it air dry then use hot curlers in the morning. It pulls alot of the kink out, makes my hair softer and i love the way it looks! Good luck hun! What kind of haircut should i get for thick curly hair?
get it cut to just hit you shoulders.
get a layered cut if your hair is loose and curly, not tight curly. if its tigh curly and you get layers...thats not good. 0.o
I really like this hairstyle and it might look good on you, but I don't know if it'll be to your liking.

If you like it and want to get it, I suggest you get your hair thinned and then have it cut the same way. If it isn't long enough to pin up, you could have it slightly longer and if you don't fancy the fringe, you could always drop that idea.

Hope this was helpful :)
you should buy a straightaner and cute it short and straiten it

it will look so cute on you i know so.
hey i have the same kind of hair. you should get a shoulder length cut, with layers. and get it thinned out. You can go to specific hairstylists for curly hair and they're usually better.
Are you Debra Messing? She's a gorgeous redhead with a sizely nose!! DO NOT thin your hair. Keep it long and pull it up. If you get it cut for summer you'll be sorry in the fall. Curly hair is best really short or really long.
geri curls
up to your shoulders
try layers.
inside layers to thin it, and frame your best features with bangs. if you have high cheekbones cut layers from there, or from your chin. you can straighten that part or clip it up if it is too short when you cut it. you should thin it if you are going to cut it short.
forward cutting will suit u

or u can cut ur hairs in u shape in back and take a forward look in front
To your shoulders %26amp; part it to the side.I suggest this because my mom did her hair like that %26amp; her hair was very think and curly %26amp; when she did that it got more managable. Then she died it with Herbal Essenses %26amp; it got straight with it a little curly at the end.
