I have VERY curly hair (jewish afro hair), and I've heard that at night when going to sleep it's good to wrap your hair in a towel so that it doesn't get all poofy and frizzy the next day. Would using a beanie instead of a towel when going to sleep be almost the same? Or is it just not the same?Wearing a beanie when going to bed for curly hair?

If you wear a Bennie it is going to flatten it. If that is what you are looking for, then go for it. I tie my hair up with a scrunchy. Also, try using a leave in conditioner that helps the frizzes.
