How do you get frizzy, curly hair to be straight/wavy?

My hair is out of control frizzy with really tight curls, i want my hair to be more relaxed. Im going to the salon sometime this week and im getting it thined but i was wondering if there was some way to gut back on such tight curls.How do you get frizzy, curly hair to be straight/wavy?

you could buy a relaxer, or even get your hair chemically straightened. but if i were you, i would just rock the curly hair. buy frizz reducing products and put them in. and at night straighten your hair good, and just touch it up in the morning and it should be fine!
Blow out your hair and then straighten. Or if you go to some places, they have people who straighten your hair and it stays for, like, 6 months. That's kind of expensive though... OR you can find a way to make ur frizzy, curly hair cute!
Wash your hair with straightening shampoo and conditioner. Blow out your hair with a round brush and hair dryer. Straighten with a really hot flat iron.
I use a straightening iron every day with anti-frizz serum.
