it will take you two years , depends on your diet. How long does it take to grow thick curly hair to waist length?
I would imagine the same time it would take to grow straight hair to waist length. It's supposed to be a little less than an inch a month but it varies for everyone. Maybe if the curl was a little looser it wouldn't look so short. You can try Mixed Chicks leave-in conditioner. It works really well. And don't skip regular trims otherwise any new length you grow won't make a difference since your ends will break off.
itttt took my friend 2 years.
two years but use cocunut oil.

massage it every night and sleep with a plastic cap on ur head. once a week shampoo hair and b4 shampoo do a hotoil massage with cocunut oil and leave it on ur hair for 5 hrs. have henna treatments twice a month. use shikakai powder to wash hair. cut split ends every 10 wks. dry hair natural
It takes the same length of time as it does for straight hair, but it will just look shorter.

Best way is to straighten it if you want it to look longer.
It depends on the rate your hair grows, which can be up to about a half inch per month, and how tall you are. It will certainly take longer if you are 6' tall than if you are 5'2';.
An average person's hair grows at about 1/2 inch to and 1 inch per month. Trimming your hair does not make it grow faster, this is a myth. It is healthy to get a trim, but the best way to let your hair grow it's best is eating plenty of fruits and vegetables and enough servings from each food group. Also, combing your hair before you sleep and letting it down helps a lot. To grow hair down to your shoulders from a short cut by your ears would take 3-5 months depending on your hair's growing rate and how you treat it.
it really just depends how fast your hair grow and that you take the right kinds of vitamins
Hair grows one average a quarter to a half inch per month. Do the math. To be waist length measure from you shoulders to back. It should grow one inch every 4 or 5 months.
