What happens when you cut curly hair as short as a boy's cut?

i hate my long curl hair and i like it short but never have cut it really short what should i do?What happens when you cut curly hair as short as a boy's cut?
Unless you have a perfectly shaped face, you will look doofy, at best.

Only Halle Berry can pull that off. Everyone else I've seen with boy-cut curly hair looks butch or goofy.

You need really perfect, elegant, delicate, balanced features to pull off a boy cut.What happens when you cut curly hair as short as a boy's cut?

It will either lose curl or go even curlier. It depends on how curly your hair is to begin with. Looser curls tend to lose curl the shorter the hair is. Tighter curls tend to get curlier.

You could always try straightening your hair
Probably look like Betty Boop.

Seriously, more like Keri Russell when she cut hers. The curl will become tighter and closer to your head, not so much like a poodle but kinda like a kewpie doll.

Go for it if you really want to. If you don't like it, it will grow.
2 possible outcomes...

1. Your a poodle

2. It lookes like pubic hair
I have very curly hair, and it isn't very thick. If your hair is thick, and you cut it to about 3 1/2'; long, your hair will usually be in wispy curls. If the back is like a boyish bob, the underneath area at the nape of the neck will probably be straight and the overlaying parts will turn up a bit. If you have an oval shaped face, this cut looks real cute, with sort of a bang in front, brushed to the side. If your hair is thin, like mine, cutting it too short will make your hair look sparce, with spaces in it. Then you'll have to tease it a little to make it look thicker. So I would cut it about the length of your index finger, and shorter at the neckline, slightly longer in front of the ears, so you have a little twist of curl by your cheek. Try not to have your hair look evenly cut. Curly and wavy hair should look light and wispy,(going every which way). If your face is square, your hair should be about shoulder length to help your face look longer, and definitely with a pretty side swept bang. If you have a round face, don't have your hairdo look round, all around your head. Leave your hair a little long, just below shoulder. When you shampoo it, use a setting gel on it and set your hair with EXTRA LARGE rollers, TURNED DOWN. Set medium length bangs to go sideways with medium rollers, TURNED UP, so that your bangs will turn up and away from your face, giving it a nice soft look. The rest of your hair, because of setting it with the large rollers, will hang in slight waves and the bottom will be like a pageboy (turned under). Hope this helps you out. Oh, I almost forgot. If you trim your hair yourself, especially the bangs, take a small bunch of the bangs in one hand and TWIST the hair all around tightly, like a thin rope and cut it at the end of the ';rope';. Tra-la! Now you have wispy bangs that are feathered. Each strand of hair will be a little different length and it won't look like you cut it straight across with a scissors. Have fun. I'll bet if you try one of these suggestions, you'll look wonderful. Good luck. Also, if you have really curly hair, and you cut it short like a man's haircut, you'll probably have a ';Shirley Temple'; look, but not at first. The back of your head will be straight, but layered, and the top may be very fuzzy. B ecause curly hair has a way of bending any way it chooses, you could even show a couple of baldy areas. Unless you have a very becoming shaped head and nice ears, I'd stay away from the ';boyish cut.';
Um, watch some of the later episodes of that WB show Felicity... her hair is what short curly hair looks like.
It kinda hard to say cause somtimes its straight until it grows long enough to curl and somtimes it will stay straight.
look like tom
Hello! Two words... Hallie Berry!
